Our Operations Habilitation in Uppsala County is part of the Close Care and Health Administration at Region Uppsala and has for many years been a "habilitation at the forefront." We are a specialized service with expertise in intellectual disabilities, autism, and various forms of congenital movement disabilities, serving children, youth, and adults with disabilities. We work to create conditions for independence and an active life through developmental, supportive, and compensatory interventions. Our multidisciplinary teams are located in Uppsala, Enköping, Tierp, and Östhammar. The operation is characterized by development and evidence-based working methods, and you will have a stimulating and varied job. Competence development and knowledge sharing occur continuously within habilitation's own operations. Each profession also has regular meetings to ensure equivalent competence across the county's different units. Within the administration there is a Research and Development Department, with the aim of stimulating and supporting development work. Your Assignment We offer meaningful work with complex and developmental patient cases. We work in multidisciplinary teams and you will work both independently and together with competent professional colleagues and team members. Our unit's target group is patients with autism without intellectual disabilities. You will work with adults and their closest relatives. In psychosocial treatment work, both individual contacts and group-level interventions are included, such as discussion groups for diagnostic knowledge and social skills. Important work tasks include conducting assessments during initial visits, informing about societal support, and providing guidance on everyday challenges. The assignment also includes collaborating with other services both within the region and municipalities as well as society at large. The work is varied and stimulating. Regular working hours are weekdays 8:00-16:30, flexible hours agreements apply, and there is an opportunity for partial remote work. Your Competence We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and preferably with further training in psychosocial treatment work. Experience working with people with disabilities is a merit. You start from the patient's needs and involve the patient and their network in the work. You work effectively with others and see teamwork as an asset for your profession. You naturally take responsibility for your own work, have the ability to prioritize your tasks, and can quickly adapt to changed circumstances. You independently plan your schedule based on a holistic view of the operations and based on collaboration with colleagues. You also have an interest in creating new ways of working together with others and see digital solutions as natural opportunities in your work. To thrive and succeed with us, you also need to be unpretentious both in acquiring knowledge and experiences and in sharing your knowledge and experiences with colleagues. As a person you are clear in your communication and structured in your working methods.
