We strive to have an equal workplace and welcome female applicants. Your Assignment You will be part of the Crypto Office under the Cyber Operations Department. The department has two main tasks: helping to strengthen protection against qualified IT attacks from abroad for critical infrastructure in Sweden, and developing and delivering access and exploitation capabilities to signal intelligence operations. As a cryptologist, you will work in a group that develops and implements mathematical and cryptological methods to support the agency's intelligence production. The methods the group develops process data collected through signals intelligence and deliver the results back to the signal intelligence operations. Your main work tasks will be: · Software development primarily in C/C++ and Python · Analyzing crypto implementations from a security and vulnerability perspective · High-performance computing · Analysis of encrypted data The work is characterized by continuous change, and we very much welcome your commitment to staying current and acquiring new knowledge in the field during your employment. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: · A doctorate in computer science, mathematics, physics, computer engineering, or similar fields. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience. · Strong programming skills · Good experience with Linux-like operating systems at the command line level · Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing We consider it advantageous if you have experience or knowledge in one or more of the technical areas below: · Programming skills in relatively low-level languages such as C/C++, Rust, Assembler, or similar · Cryptology or Cybersecurity · Compilers and computer architectures · Operating system design · Software development · High-performance computing · Data Science with or without machine learning About You We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who, in addition to your technical engagement, is unpretentious with a problem-solving attitude.
