About the job As an enforcement officer, you work within one or more of Kronofogden's operational areas: summary proceedings, enforcement, debt settlement, and supervision in bankruptcy/restructuring. You are responsible for the legal quality of case handling. Your work spans multiple areas of law, primarily insolvency law, execution law, and property law. Initially, you will work within the enforcement operational area. In summary proceedings, you make qualified legal assessments in cases involving payment orders, ordinary assistance, and special assistance. In enforcement, you are an integral part of the agency's exercise of authority in enforcement measures and are responsible for executive property and tenant-owned apartment sales. In debt settlement, you investigate the conditions for debt settlement in review and objection cases and make decisions in complex matters. In bankruptcy supervision, you monitor that bankruptcy administration is conducted correctly and are available to administrators when difficult questions arise. You also work with supervision of corporate restructurers. You also provide daily legal support to other colleagues, conduct training, prepare legal investigations, make decisions, respond to referrals, and write statements to courts. The role also includes representing the agency in various contexts and answering questions from the public and parties. You will undergo internal training for approximately one year. In the training, you will alternate between theory and practice and apply the law within our various operations. There is both opportunity and expectation that over time you will work in the different operational departments. Work locations: Skövde or Uddevalla. Your qualifications: To be hired as an enforcement trainee, you must have: • Nordic law degree • Completed notarial service at a district or administrative court, or be expected to complete it by your first day of employment • Swedish citizenship • Category B driving license It is desirable that you have two years of current work experience in qualified legal work from a law firm, court, or agency in a decision-making role in addition to your notarial service. Good to know The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You begin your employment as an enforcement trainee and after completing the training, you will receive the title of enforcement officer. Kronofogden offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer. This position requires Swedish citizenship. Working for the state means you follow the state value base. Special requirements are also placed on judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during interviews about any previous criminality and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also posed to references. We also obtain information about debts registered with Kronofogden, bankruptcies, and business bans.
