Job Description In the role of Requirements Analyst, you will work closely with colleagues throughout the system development and procurement process to realize solutions that meet end-user needs, while ensuring that we comply with laws and regulations. As a Requirements Analyst, you identify and document functional and non-functional requirements and participate in acceptance and usability tests with end users. You ensure that requirements and solutions align with defined outcome objectives and, together with the development team or supplier, you create a shared understanding of the needs and requirements to be realized in some form of solution. In addition, you may also work methodically with UX designers to identify primary and secondary target groups and conduct needs analyses. In consultation with Business and Solution Architects, you develop and/or update existing information and conceptual modeling. We are looking for someone who has: An academic degree in a relevant field such as systems science, cognitive science, computer science or similar, or alternatively other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant Experience conducting needs analyses and target group segmentation to identify and clarify the organization's needs Experience analyzing and describing features, capabilities, constraints and quality attributes Experience conducting requirements analysis in system development projects and management of existing IT solutions, with good understanding of the entire development process – from requirements definition to deployment Experience working in or close to cross-functional development teams consisting of system developers, testers and UX designers Good knowledge of methods and techniques for requirements gathering, requirements analysis and requirements management Knowledge of formulating requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria Knowledge of how to conduct requirements analysis for system development in accordance with an agile working approach Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish It is also meritorious to have: Several years of experience working as a requirements analyst Experience working with the development and evaluation of interaction design Experience from larger and complex organizations or public sector operations Experience formulating requirements when procuring IT solutions Experience with User Story Mapping or similar methods for breaking down requirements in connection with the realization of IT solutions Knowledge of information and conceptual modeling and understanding of how these are used as a basis for data modeling and development of IT solutions Other Information The Swedish Prison and Probation Service has chosen to remove the personal letter and replaced it with selection questions that are relevant to the position.
