Main Job Responsibilities • Staff Schedule Planning: complete creation and optimization of monthly shift schedules for direct care workers with consideration for legislative requirements and organizational operational needs. • Substitution for Direct Care Coordinator and Transportation Officer: full delegation coverage during their absence, assuming responsibility for operational management of direct care services for our clients. • Team Communication and Coordination: ensuring effective information flow within the team, conducting regular operational meetings, and coordinating activities among individual direct care workers. • Crisis Management and Operational Solutions for Absences: rapid response to unplanned staff shortages (sick leave, unexpected absences) and ensuring adequate coverage without impact on quality of care provided. Candidate Requirements • Required Education: minimum secondary education with diploma (education in social work, healthcare, or related field is a major advantage). • Experience with Staff Leadership: previous experience in a coordinator or management position (preferably in social services) with a larger team of employees. • Social Services Worker Course is an advantage (can be completed within 12 months). • Driver's License category B is required. • Basic PC Skills (Word, Excel) are required. • Organizational and Management Abilities: excellent logistical thinking, precision when working with data, and ability to efficiently organize time and the work of others. • Professional Communication Skills: ability for objective, clear, and diplomatic team interaction, assertiveness, and high level of social intelligence. • Ability to Work Under Pressure and Independence: stress resilience, ability for quick and responsible decision-making in crisis and time-sensitive situations. • Knowledge of Cygnus Software is an advantage not a requirement: user-level knowledge and practical experience working with the Cygnus information system (module for service planning and care documentation).
