RIX is a critical infrastructure in Sweden where payments from banks and financial institutions are settled in Swedish kronor. WHAT YOU'LL DO WITH US As a Continuity Manager at RIX, you play a central role in ensuring that the Riksbank can maintain its critical operations in all circumstances. Work within the payments area primarily involves continuity work, operational incident and crisis management, and analyzing risks and vulnerabilities to identify and implement measures needed to strengthen resilience. Since RIX is a system of crucial importance to Swedish payment infrastructure, system availability is very important. You will be responsible for leading and driving the organization's continuity work together with your colleagues, which means you will: Lead and coordinate the incident organization Plan and lead internal and external scenario exercises Educate and participate in various forums internally and externally where communication is primarily in English Work with internal preparedness and thereby collaboration internally Develop continuity plans based on the organization's needs Participate in various investigations and projects within the bank where you contribute your expertise Challenges ahead include ensuring together with colleagues that the RIX system and operations adapt to the organization's and external environment's requirements. The position also includes scheduled incident preparedness. Participating in the incident organization entails 24/7 availability according to a rotating schedule. YOUR TEAM The Riksbank consists of nine departments. The Payments Department has the mission to provide a payment system for settling payments in Sweden, to supply the country with cash, and to work with payment analysis and innovation. RIX operations are distributed across three units: the RIX Operations unit, the RIX Administration unit, and the RIX Business Development unit, all part of the Payments Department. ABOUT YOU We are looking for someone with relevant university education for the position, such as economics, political science with a focus on crisis management, or related areas. You have experience in, for example, continuity work or work in operations that involve operational incident management or crisis management and preparedness. You have professional experience in the payments field and a good understanding of how Sweden's payment system is structured. Experience of work in a government agency is a merit. Knowledge of the RIX system or other critical infrastructure systems is also a merit. For this role, it is particularly important that you have an interest in leading and collaborating with others. You have the ability to grasp complex issues naturally and simply, and you adapt your communication depending on your audience. You are a stable and mature person with good judgment who is driven to deliver with high quality. You work in a structured manner and are skilled at presenting and communicating your message. You are proactive, flexible, and easily adapt to new circumstances, seeing opportunities in change. You are good at independently driving your tasks forward, both individually and together with others. Furthermore, you have problem-solving analytical skills and are good at collaborating and are stimulated by cooperation with others. You have strong abilities to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. Great weight will be placed on personal qualities.
