Responsibilities Products and customers will vary, and you'll be building new exciting solutions. You'll work with harness design in product development projects within the automotive and defense industries, with opportunities for assignments in other sectors as well. The design work consists of both installation combined with product ownership, often in a CAD environment, as well as at the system level where you're responsible for system architecture from topology to electrical schematics. You're responsible for analyzing and breaking down technical problems to find the best solutions together with your team. You take responsibility in projects by sharing your knowledge, while independently managing your own work. You work with continuous integration and delivery as central parts of your role. You're responsible for selecting components and conducting reviews and documentation for archiving. Qualifications We're looking for harness design engineers with experience from the automotive or defense industry who enjoy tackling complex technical challenges. You like to break down these challenges together with the team to reach the best solution. You're someone who enjoys sharing your knowledge while independently driving your own work forward. Beyond your personal qualities, you need to have the following: Post-secondary education in engineering: Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, Mechatronics, or vocational school education (supplemented with a few years of experience in the field). At least a couple of years of experience in harness design from the automotive or defense industry, either in 3D installation or as a system architect. Experience in both areas combined is highly meritorious. Very strong CAD modeling skills in harness design using Creo or Catia. Very strong knowledge of electrical architecture and experience with Saber Harness, Capital Logic, Visio, or similar tools. Good experience working in projects. Good communication skills. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English. Meritorious Good experience with Teamcenter, PDMLink, Windchill, Enovia, KOLA, KDP, OAS, Aras, or similar tools is meritorious. Knowledge of environmental regulations (RoHS, REACH, WEEE). A security clearance may be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
