Structural Engineer sought – junior to senior
Wolfbuilder is now recruiting several structural engineers to our growing team in Stockholm.
We receive a large number of inquiries in structural design and engineering today, and are therefore seeking both junior and senior structural engineers who want to work with varied and practical building projects.
When customers search for "structural engineer Stockholm" on Google, Wolfbuilder currently ranks at the top, which means we continuously receive new assignments from private individuals, property owners, and other clients.
We are currently a team of approximately 7 people in engineering and consulting, including building experts, architects, and other expertise in construction and project management. As a structural engineer, you will become an important part of the team and work closely with both clients, architects, and building experts.
Very varied projects
At our firm, one assignment might involve visiting an apartment on Östermalm where the customer wants to remove a load-bearing wall and needs structural calculations and drawings.
The next assignment could be an older building where structural drawings are completely missing and where the existing structure needs to be investigated, documented, and drawn up.
We also work on larger projects such as extensions and new construction where complete structural documentation needs to be prepared.
Examples of work tasks
Structural calculations and dimensioning
Preparation of structural drawings
Structural documentation for building permits and production
Breakdown of load-bearing walls
Dimensioning of beams, columns, floor slabs, and other load-bearing elements
Assessment of existing structures
Site visits and technical investigations
Development of structural solutions for older buildings where drawings are missing
Renovations and extensions
New construction of residential homes and other buildings
Co-design work together with architects and building experts
Communication with clients and other consultants
We are seeking both junior and senior structural engineers
You don't need to know everything on day one.
For a junior structural engineer, the most important thing is that you have relevant education, great technical interest, and a desire to develop. You will have the opportunity to work together with more experienced professionals in construction and engineering and gradually take on greater responsibility.
For a senior structural engineer, we are looking for someone who can lead their own structural projects, make technical assessments, and take responsibility for engineering from the first site visit to completed documentation.
We believe you have education in structural engineering, building technology, civil engineering, or equivalent.

Experience with wood, steel, and concrete is advantageous, as is experience with CAD/BIM and structural software.
