Job Description:
In the role of mechanical design engineer, you will work with both developing new components and improving existing solutions. You do this in close collaboration with production, testing, and other technical areas.
As a mechanical design engineer, you will work on developing subsystems for advanced jet engines. You design and construct components and structures in various materials, such as high-strength steel, aluminum, composites, and using additive manufacturing.
You will become part of a close-knit team with engaged and competent colleagues, where you work together toward common goals.
Examples of work tasks:
Design of load-bearing structures.
Development of technical documentation such as drawings, CAD models, and specifications.
Development of subsystems for jet engines.
Participation in projects and technical meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
The assignment requires you to undergo a security interview and be approved according to current regulations. The assignment also involves requirements for certain citizenship.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with an engineering degree in mechanical engineering, product development, or similar field. You have at least 2 years of professional experience working as a mechanical design engineer and are comfortable working in a CAD environment. Experience with Siemens NX, additive manufacturing, and lightweight design in steel or composites is a merit.
