About the role
In this role, you will be an important part of an engineering team where you are responsible for creating designs and drawing documentation that meet customer requirements, applicable regulations, and internal quality standards. You work closely with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure cost-effective and well-thought-out solutions throughout the project.
Examples of work tasks:
Develop manufacturing documentation such as assembly drawings, detail drawings, and welding instructions.
Develop and adapt designs based on customer-specific needs.
Create technical specifications, for example surface treatment and painting documentation.
Ensure that designs meet technical requirements, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
Monitor and ensure that design work is carried out according to the project plan.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout different phases of projects.

You have:
Higher education in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
At least three years of experience in design work, preferably in welded products or manufacturing industry.
Experience with 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
The ability to translate requirements and needs into practical and cost-effective technical solutions.
About the assignment
You will be employed as a consultant at Consensus and work for our client during the first six months. After that, the goal is for the role to transition into a permanent position with the client.
