As a design engineer at Värmebaronen, you will work together with product developers on both innovation and improvements to our standard product range as well as development of customized solutions, from idea to finished product. You are also responsible for ensuring product quality and making sure that all requirements and standards are met and that the company stays current with these. The position also includes assisting support with technical expertise. To succeed in this role, you have: Several years of practical experience with design work in welded sheet metal An engineering degree with a focus on mechanical engineering Strong knowledge of the CAD tool Inventor and Vault Strong knowledge of Swedish and English is required, and you must be able to read and understand applicable standards It is also advantageous if you have knowledge within pressure vessels and electrical systems. To succeed in this role, you need to be innovative, creative and use your imagination in a constructive way, seeing problems as a challenge and solving them in the best possible way. You are independent and good at directing yourself while also having the ability to collaborate with others in a team. You value structure, planning and organization, and you have an easy time building good relationships with people around you.
