Art Assistant Skellefteå museum is seeking a person who can support Museum Anna Nordlander's visiting curators for 2027 and 2028 in their work to complete exhibitions at SARA kulturhus. As an art assistant, you will have an all-around function and work to support various aspects of exhibition production where needed, both in practical planning and in implementation. You will also be part of the regional promotion mission for the art field and work closely with the Art Consultant. You are responsible for creating activities within "Art Can Happen" which aims to make art accessible throughout the region. You will have a special focus on activities for children and young people. This can be done through workshops and/or other activities. As you become part of the team at Museum Anna Nordlander, you will be involved in several processes and have opportunities to contribute to positive development for the art scene in Västerbotten. Qualifications: ● Higher education in art/design and/or curatorial studies, or equivalent qualified work experience. ● Comfortable working independently but also in dialogue with others. Can be a team member. ● Meritorious if you have a degree from an art college or university with an artistic focus or equivalent. ● Class B driver's license We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Practical Information ● The assignment covers 30% working time during the period November 1, 2026 - June 1, 2028. ● Work time should primarily be conducted on-site in Skellefteå. Some travel within Västerbotten region may occur. ● Compensation is paid via invoice ● The contractor must have an F-tax certificate and be VAT registered.
