Pastry Chef / Baker S:t Markus Vinkällare / Gränden Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen AB in central Malmö is committed to providing a complete entertainment experience to our guests through our various ventures. With us you'll find everything from a pub, restaurants, nightclubs, wine cellar, event spaces, street food, and our fine outdoor dining Gränden in the summer. We constantly strive to provide our guests with that extra touch in terms of environment, service, and gastronomic experience. For our Restaurant S:t Markus Vinkällare, which is part of Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen and primarily serves buffet and classic à la carte, we are now seeking an ambitious Pastry Chef / Baker. The work primarily involves traditional cooking with respect to baked goods and bread. We would like you to have worked as a pastry chef/baker for a number of years and have experience in cooking from scratch with a focus on buffet and especially baking and desserts. We appreciate an innovative approach to cooking. As a person you are cheerful, ambitious, stress-resilient, and reliable. You are passionate about providing our guests with the absolute best culinary experience by applying your attention to detail and your innovative approach to cooking, with an eye for details. You have good knowledge of food handling and hygiene and we require that you have completed a certified food handling course. Furthermore, you are a team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. For the benefit of our guests, we prefer that you are tobacco and smoke-free. There is an opportunity to also work in one of our other ventures within Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen such as Gränden in the summer. For the right person there are fine development opportunities within our company. Positions available for both part-time and full-time. In your role you will report to the Head Chef.
