Strömstad Municipality is a small and close-knit organization where everyone is important and works together to deliver the best possible service. Svinesundskommittén is a non-profit association and a forum for Nordic collaboration between Norwegian and Swedish municipalities, Østfold County Authority, and Västra Götaland Region. We are the meeting place for political dialogue across the border. We drive projects for business, jobs, and development. Svinesundskommittén brings the challenges of our border region to decision-makers at national and international levels. Our goal is to make the border region one of the Nordic region's most attractive and strongest border areas for residents, visitors, and business. We are in constant development and are now looking for a skilled communicator who can help take our collaboration to the next level. Strömstad Municipality is a member of Svinesundskommittén. We are now seeking a communicator at 50-70% working time. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES Do you want to contribute to making the border region of Dalsland, Northern Bohuslän, and Østfold develop into one of the Nordic region's most attractive and strongest border areas? In your role as a communicator, you will be responsible for identifying, planning, and implementing communication activities. The majority of your work will be within the Interreg project KRUT - Kompetens, Resurs, Talang (Competence, Resources, Talent) which Svinesundskommittén runs. The project aims to strengthen the common labor market and explore how vocational training can work across borders. We are a small organization and work very much across the board, both operationally and strategically, and you should be comfortable with this approach. Your duties also include working closely with your communications colleagues to ensure that all our communication is tailored to both Norwegian and Swedish audiences. Your responsibilities will include: • Develop content for our social media channels and our website. • Write press releases. • Develop communication plans and implement them in practice. • Distribute information about our activities to members and stakeholders. • Plan and implement advocacy and marketing campaigns. QUALIFICATIONS • University degree in media and communication, marketing, or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. • Fluent in Swedish in speech and writing, and ability to understand Norwegian (or vice versa). It is advantageous if you also have experience with: • Previous communication work in English. • Work in EU-funded projects. • Working with multiple collaborating organizations in our border region. • Political advocacy work or brand processes. • Working in Wordpress and E-Marketeer. • Indesign, Illustrator, Office 365. You should be an unpretentious team player and be able to take initiative independently. We have several projects running simultaneously, so you need to be able to balance multiple tasks at once. Since we are a small organization, you must be flexible, open to others' input, and have the ability to adapt to a changing environment. This means that occasionally you may need to take on other roles and responsibilities in the team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, as you will be part of a small team where mutual understanding and collaboration must work well. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. At Svinesundskommittén, we strive for an even gender distribution and see diversity as a strength. We therefore welcome applicants with different backgrounds. Please state your salary expectations. In preparation for the recruitment process, we have made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore request that you refrain from contacting media sales representatives, recruitment websites, and similar services.
