RESPONSIBILITIES As Municipal Director and CEO of Skövde Stadshus AB, you have overall responsibility for translating political decisions into sustainable results and future-proof solutions. You lead a complex organization where strategic direction, implementation power, and a clear group perspective are crucial for success. In the role, you are responsible for, among other things: • leading and developing the entire municipal group with a focus on wholeness, quality, and sustainability • providing qualified support to political leadership and ensuring well-founded decision-making materials • strengthening collaboration between the municipality's sectors and companies • driving development and change to meet future welfare and societal challenges • ensuring sound economic management and efficient governance • representing and driving collaboration with business, academia, the region, authorities, and other municipalities, especially in Skaraborg • developing group governance, ownership control, and the companies' long-term value creation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: Have documented experience leading large and complex organizations with responsibility for operations, finances, results, and strategic development. You are an experienced leader who creates direction through other managers and who can bring people and operations together around shared goals even when conditions are complex. You also have: • experience from politically governed operations and good understanding of the interplay between democratic decision-making and professional administration • good knowledge of public governance, municipal law, and public operations • documented experience leading development and change work with clear results • experience in strategic financial management • relevant academic education or other experience that the employer deems equivalent.
