Swedish Church in Södertälje consists of three parishes (Södertälje, Östertälje and Enhörna) and employs over 100 people in parish activities, pastoral office, and cemetery administration.
Södertälje is an exciting city with great diversity where a large part of the population are Christians from the Middle East with different backgrounds and church affiliations.
Södertälje parish holds services in four churches (S:ta Ragnhild, Lina, Hovsjö and Tveta), provides education for a growing number of children, youth and adults, and is developing outreach diaconal work. The purpose is that people come to faith in Christ and live in faith, a Christian community is created and deepened, God's kingdom is extended and creation is restored.
YOUR MISSION
Following Jesus as your example, you help people grow in faith through, for example, Bible study, spiritual guidance, discussion groups, pastoral care, retreats, pilgrimage walks, etc. Lead services and church rituals in all our churches and chapels and, if needed, participate in confirmation preparation. YOUR BACKGROUND
We are looking for someone who is ordained in the Swedish Church's tradition, who loves Jesus and sees prayer as an important part of church work. You are secure in your faith and have a desire to share it with others. You are a flexible and responsible person who can work independently and collaborate with others to achieve the parish's goals. You are open and social and have an easy way of connecting with people. You have an ecumenical spirit and openness toward people from other Christian traditions, primarily Orthodox.

The position is 100%, permanent. Start date by agreement. Driver's license and access to a personal car are required. Working hours also include evenings and weekends. Interviews at the parish are conducted on a rolling basis, so do not hesitate to submit your application.
