About the Job As a substitute kitchen assistant, you play an important role in ensuring the operation runs smoothly when a regular staff member is absent. Your tasks are typical of school and preschool kitchens – helping with serving, salad preparation, simple cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning. About You We are looking for someone who has completed a restaurant and food program or similar education and has experience working in preschool kitchens, school kitchens, or equivalent large-scale kitchens. It is particularly important that you have solid knowledge of safe food handling and allergy-aware cooking. Your knowledge, curiosity, and commitment make a difference. To succeed in the assignment, it is important that you are good at collaboration and can plan your own work. It is also important to be able to see what needs to be done and take initiative.
