About the Job
As a substitute kitchen assistant, you play an important role in ensuring the operation runs smoothly when a regular staff member is absent. Your tasks are typical of school and preschool kitchens – helping with serving, salad preparation, simple cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning.
About You
We are looking for someone who has completed a restaurant and food program or similar education and has experience working in preschool kitchens, school kitchens, or equivalent large-scale kitchens. It is particularly important that you have solid knowledge of safe food handling and allergy-aware cooking.
Your knowledge, curiosity, and commitment make a difference. To succeed in the assignment, it is important that you are good at collaboration and can plan your own work.
