The Children and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and Primary School Board. About the Position
We are seeking a chef who with dedication and professional pride wants to help create nutritious, delicious, and sustainable meals for our students and children. You will be part of a skilled kitchen team where we work closely together with a focus on taste, quality, and well-being.
Your tasks:
Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals
Ensure that meals comply with applicable dietary and hygiene regulations
Responsibility for self-inspection, goods receipt, and food handling
Contribute to a positive work environment in the kitchen and dining hall
Collaborate with school staff to promote students' enjoyment of food
About You
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in cooking and service who wants to contribute to a pleasant and secure meal environment for our students. You are creative, responsible, and enjoy working in a team.
Requirements:
Chef education at upper secondary or post-secondary level
Several years of experience working in a kitchen as a chef
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
HACCP training in food handling
Computer skills and ability to order in various systems
Merits:
Experience working in large-scale kitchens or school restaurants
Training in special diets, food, or hygiene
Driver's license is a merit
