We are now seeking two chefs for schools in our geographic areas Eriksbo/Hjällbo and Kortedala/Bergsjön. We work in a multicultural environment where flexibility and adaptability are important. Here you will prepare food from scratch, be creative, and contribute ideas to develop and make meals both attractive and inspiring. Responsibilities As a chef with us, you will become part of our meal service team and help prepare delicious, nutritious, and inspiring meals for students in our schools in Nordost. Meals are an important part of the school day – they should provide energy, enjoyment of food, and good conditions for students to have the stamina to make it through the day. With us, you get to use your creativity and expertise to create meals that taste great and maintain high quality, especially when scaling recipes up or down for large volumes. You will be an important part of the school's daily operations and have the opportunity to influence students' experience of food and mealtimes. Qualifications We are looking for someone with chef training who sees food preparation from scratch as a central part of your work. You should have current knowledge of preparing special diets that meet different needs. It is important that you have good knowledge of hygiene, food handling, and allergens according to current regulations. Since you meet our guests daily, communicate with the school, suppliers, and other partners, and manage orders, you speak Swedish fluently, both written and spoken. You have a strong interest in sustainability and work consciously based on environmental and climate considerations. You need to be physically strong enough to handle heavy lifting that occurs in the role. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is dedicated, thorough, and responsible, with a genuine interest in food. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for maintaining a high level of service and good food quality. You have good interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating. The work requires that you are stress-resistant, have the ability to maintain focus even under high workload, and enjoy varied work. Since this is a larger workplace, work rotation is included, which requires flexibility in different tasks within a large-scale kitchen. We welcome your application!
