JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The food service unit is a large workplace within the municipality with approximately 27 kitchens in various forms where food is prepared in central units for smaller receiving kitchens. New for Vimmerby municipality is that we have just transitioned to a structure where we deliver hot meals from central units. We prepare food from scratch using local ingredients and our kitchens are modern with excellent equipment to help prepare approximately 3,500 daily portions. As a cook, you work in a varied environment and your mission is to work together with your colleagues to prepare good and nutritious meals for our guests every day. For this position, we are looking for someone who is organized and enjoys administration and ordering supplies. You are a hub for the care units where supplies and groceries are ordered. You work with various computer systems daily and need to have technical skills, as this is a significant part of your role. For the remaining time, you work as a cook at Vimarskolan. The team there consists of 7-8 people where approximately 800 students are served daily. QUALIFICATIONS We would like you to have previous cook training, but it is not a requirement. If you have experience from similar kitchen work, we consider that a merit.
