Do you want to spend the winter in the mountains and become part of our team at Bräjks Matbar? For the winter season, we are now looking for a chef who wants to work with us at Bräjks Matbar in Björnrike, Vemdalen. With us, we prepare food from scratch, work with quality ingredients, and believe it should be both fun and rewarding to come to work. During the winter, it's fast-paced, busy, and energetic – so we're looking for someone who thrives when things are happening and who is also careful and takes pride in what leaves the kitchen. We think you: • Have some years of experience working as a chef and are independent and confident in the kitchen • Enjoy fast-paced work and can stay calm when there's a lot to do • Like outdoor activities, skiing/snowboarding, and spending time in the mountains • Enjoy working in a small team where everyone helps each other • Care about ingredients and quality • Keep the kitchen organized and tidy • Have a driver's license and a car (an asset but not required) About the job and us 📍 Bräjks Matbar, Björnrike – Vemdalen • Seasonal employment December 14, 2026 - April 11, 2027 • We serve lunch every day and dinner a couple of days a week, so working hours are split between day and evening shifts • We're primarily looking for someone who can work full-time, but part-time may also be of interest • We can offer staff accommodation if needed Bräjks Matbar is a restaurant right in the ski slopes in Björnrike. We're a small workplace with a very large flow of guests during the winter, and the weeks vary a lot during the season.
