Your responsibilities As a Treatment Assistant/Social Pedagogue, you will work closely with clients providing motivational support and assistance in daily life. The work may include support regarding substance use, mental health, housing, finances, family situations, and meaningful leisure activities. You will collaborate with other professionals and be responsible for documentation, reporting, and follow-up in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational procedures. You will also serve as a contact person for clients and take responsibility for tasks associated with this role. Your responsibilities may also include delegated health and medical care tasks, such as medication management, following decisions and orientation. To thrive in this role, you need to be confident, relationship-building, and clear. You have the ability to meet people in complex life situations with respect, patience, and a professional approach. The position also includes regular cleaning tasks at the residence and helping and supporting clients with the same in their apartments. Your qualifications We are looking for someone with knowledge of, or interest in developing knowledge about, adults with harmful use, substance dependence, and co-occurring conditions. You have a solution-focused and low-arousal approach and are motivated by supporting people through change. You are stable, flexible, and can distinguish between the personal and professional in interactions with clients. You remain calm even in pressured situations and can adapt when circumstances change. The position requires at least two years of post-secondary education, or education the employer deems equivalent, with relevant orientation for work in HVB, health care, social services, or treatment. Examples of relevant education include treatment assistant, social pedagogue, nursing assistant with psychiatric specialization, or other post-secondary education in social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, psychiatry, or related fields. If you have training in a specific treatment method relevant to the target group, we consider that an asset. You need good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as documentation, reporting, and collaboration are important parts of the work. A B-class driver's license is desirable as driving is part of the job. Experience working with substance use, co-occurring conditions, mental disability, or HVB services is advantageous. Orientation, supervision, and delegated tasks are provided according to organizational procedures and the competencies required for the assignment. What we offer HVB Lindgården is a residential care facility for adults over 21 years old. Lindgården offers 11 permanent places for people with harmful use, substance dependence, and co-occurring conditions.
