Job Responsibilities The Development and Projects Division works to investigate, design, and implement work on our distribution network and water treatment facilities. Within this division is the Geographic Information unit, which is the Circle Economy and Water expert on geographic data and geodetic surveying with associated support systems. Our work involves documenting and protecting critical infrastructure as the city grows and providing geographic information and maps to other operations. The unit employs GIS specialists, surveyors, and mapping engineers. As a Mapping Engineer specializing in position location review, you will review documents and respond to inquiries from other utility owners, contractors, and private individuals to protect and secure access to our facilities. You will also monitor our interests by delivering map materials of our water and wastewater infrastructure. With us, you will have an interesting and versatile assignment, be part of urban development, and work with critical infrastructure. In your daily work, you will collaborate with the division's project managers and building inspectors. You will primarily work within the software systems VA-banken, Bluebeam, and Autocad. Qualifications We see that you have education as a mapping engineer, surveyor, civil engineer, or equivalent knowledge that the employer deems similar. You are positive and have the ability to see needs and be able to plan and drive work forward. We value that you are thorough and take personal responsibility. The work is conducted in cooperation with other colleagues in the division, and we therefore value good collaboration skills. To succeed in the role, good communication skills and the ability to adapt your message to the recipient, target audience, and situation are required. The work is characterized by thoroughness, structure, and a clear quality focus, where details are noticed and tasks are followed up. The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize is important for the work to be carried out efficiently and completed within the set timeframe. You will be an important contributor when it comes to sharing experience and knowledge. We would like you to have experience interpreting and understanding construction documents, both drawings and digital documents, as well as expressing yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. Work experience in the construction industry is meriting, and if you have experience with water and wastewater technology in municipal operations, that is also valuable. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis The position is security classified level 3 and requires a passed background check from the Swedish Security Service (Säpo) and Swedish citizenship.
