Charlottendals catering is seeking a kitchen assistant/cold prep worker with good experience in the trade or similar background. Charlottendals catering delivers meals to preschools and schools throughout Stockholm County. Our production kitchen is located in Bagarmossen, where all work is performed and deliveries are coordinated. We deliver meals to approximately 50 preschools, totaling around 2,000 portions. Our focus is on delivering delicious, varied, and healthy meals to our customers. Our cuisine should be varied and flavorful. It should look appealing and spark children's curiosity. We offer everything from traditional Swedish home cooking to cuisine inspired by other countries. We certainly listen to our customers' wishes and try to adapt our dishes accordingly. Your role as a kitchen assistant/cold prep worker is an important part of our team. You are responsible for preparing vegetables and packing them in various containers for delivery. Your responsibilities will include: *Preparing and packing vegetables and other accompaniments for the salad menu. *Assisting with processing raw materials for the chefs. *Other tasks as needed, such as assisting the chef with cooking. We are looking for someone with: *Previous experience working as a cold prep worker or other relevant experience processing large quantities of vegetables. *Good experience with similar work involving larger volumes of raw materials. *Strong ability to work in a team and give and receive instructions from colleagues. *Good ability to handle stress and work efficiently. *Good ability to communicate in Swedish. *Flexibility and good ability to adapt to prevailing circumstances.
