About the Role Estimating & Procurement is a key function at Byggmäster, and with us you will have the opportunity to follow the business from the first inquiry all the way through to execution. The role combines estimating and procurement in roughly equal parts and suits you if you want to work closely with both business and production. You drive your own estimates and are responsible for procurement work on the projects we win. This means you analyze request documents, calculate projects, obtain and evaluate quotes, and ensure the right cost levels. When the project moves forward, you bring your knowledge into the procurement and production phase and work closely with site managers, work managers, suppliers, and subcontractors. You will become part of our estimating and procurement department where you work independently on your projects, but with close collaboration and significant knowledge sharing within the group. You are structured and comfortable managing multiple processes at the same time, while understanding that good estimating and procurement work is built on collaboration and good relationships. Therefore, you need to be communicative and enjoy working with colleagues, suppliers, and subcontractors. You have a business-oriented mindset and understand the importance of balancing price, quality, risk, and feasibility to create a good deal. Qualifications Good understanding of construction and knowledge of the different parts of the building process. Ability to read and understand drawings, descriptions, and request documents. Understanding of materials, work tasks, and costs in construction. Ability to work systematically and manage multiple parallel projects. Good communication skills in Swedish. B-class driver's license. Meritorious Experience with estimating and/or procurement in the construction industry. Experience with negotiations, contracts, and commercial terms. Knowledge of project economics, production budgets, and ÄTA management. Experience with Wikells, Next Project, and Bluebeam or equivalent systems.
