At Vadsbogymnasiet in Mariestad, we offer eleven national programs, including both college-preparatory and vocational-focused programs. We also provide sports specialization, Youth Entrepreneurship, and program certifications. The school currently has over 700 students and approximately 75 educators. We work together in program-based teams, in close collaboration with the principal and various student welfare professionals. Due to an upcoming parental leave, we are now seeking a teacher in law and social studies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is a full-time temporary assignment with start date in late November 2026 and extends through June 2027.
The assignment includes teaching law and social studies at the upper secondary level, as well as mentoring and support for students' capstone projects.
As a law teacher at Vadsbogymnasiet, you are part of the economics team. In this role, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing instruction.
QUALIFICATIONS
Primarily, we are seeking someone who holds teacher certification and has experience teaching law and social studies at the upper secondary level.
We also welcome applications from those who have worked as a teacher or substitute teacher, mentor, or in another role where you have had the opportunity to mentor, support, and motivate young people toward their goals, especially if you have strong knowledge of law.
As a teacher, you are engaged and conscientious with a desire to continuously develop and improve your instruction to give students the best possible conditions to grow and achieve their goals. You are communicative and naturally create a safe and positive learning environment. As a person, you are confident and stable, and you enjoy both collaborating within a team and taking independent responsibility for your instruction.
