As a technician for Eltel, you will work with cable routing and installation of cable trays. An experienced technician will be on-site to provide guidance. A large part of the work involves laying cable outdoors in the ground. You will also install access points in ceilings or on walls. Initially, fiber will be spliced by an experienced technician, while terminating CAT6 cables (standard data network) will be done by you, but with opportunities for more responsibilities over time. The assignment is expected to start as soon as possible and begins with a 6-month trial period, with the possibility of extension/permanent hire. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for someone who is dedicated, takes responsibility, and has a strong work ethic. You enjoy working physically, are handy, and have a positive attitude toward practical tasks. It's important that you are focused in your work and have the desire to learn. As a person, you are also organized and thorough in your work. Experience in network technology is a plus, whether through education or previous practical experience. A B-class driver's license is required. This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by StudentConsulting and then work on-site for Eltel.
