Do you want to contribute to strengthening Sweden's preparedness within healthcare and social services? We are now seeking junior analysts for the Supply Readiness Unit at the Department for Crisis Preparedness and Civil Defense. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with current and societally important issues while developing in the role of analyst. You will work alongside colleagues with different competencies and experiences and contribute to the National Board of Health and Welfare's work to strengthen Sweden's supply readiness. About the Position As a junior analyst, you will become part of the Supply Readiness Unit. The unit works to strengthen Sweden's ability to ensure access to healthcare products and other necessary goods and services during peacetime crises, heightened readiness, and war. The work encompasses both long-term planning and development as well as more operational and ongoing tasks. You will work together with more experienced colleagues and, based on experience and work tasks, gradually have the opportunity to take on greater independent responsibility. The work involves many contact points and collaboration both within the National Board of Health and Welfare and with other authorities, regions, municipalities, the business sector, and other actors. Your Work Tasks As a junior analyst, you will, among other things: contribute to investigations, analyses, and development work within the unit's area of operations prepare, compile, and analyze materials plan, coordinate, and follow up on activities and smaller assignments prepare and facilitate internal and external meetings and collaboration activities contribute to the handling of referrals, preparatory work, and other inter-agency processes contribute to the unit's ongoing work and, as needed, support different parts of the operation. The unit's operations are under development and work tasks may therefore change over time based on operational needs and developments in the field. We Are Looking for You Who have a relevant academic degree, for example in pharmacy, logistics, political science, economics, law, or another field that the National Board of Health and Welfare deems relevant for the position have strong analytical skills and can structure, compile, and analyze information and materials have experience with investigative, analytical, coordination, or other qualified work that is relevant for the position can express yourself very well in speech and writing in Swedish can express yourself well in speech and writing in English. It Is Advantageous If You have relevant work experience from, for example, an authority, region, municipality, business sector, or other operations with connections to healthcare, social services, supply, or preparedness have knowledge of the Swedish preparedness system, crisis preparedness, civil defense, or total defense have experience with or knowledge of supply readiness, logistics, or supply chains have experience with or knowledge of medicines, medical devices, or other healthcare products have experience with collaboration with authorities, regions, municipalities, the business sector, or other actors have experience with referral or preparatory work have knowledge of public procurement or contracts. Personal Qualities To succeed in the role, you need to be analytical, curious, and organized. You take responsibility for your work tasks and drive your work forward while remaining open to support and guidance from more experienced colleagues. A large part of our work occurs in collaboration with others. You therefore need to have good collaboration skills and be responsive and professional in your interactions. You have an easy time creating trusting relationships and contribute to a good collaboration climate. You also need to be comfortable in an operation where conditions sometimes change quickly and where we together need to be able to prioritize, adapt, and find ways forward. We place great importance on your personal qualities. The position is placed in a security classification and a security vetting with record check will be conducted before an employment decision is made. Good to Know The employment is a fixed-term appointment for 12 months with start as soon as possible. You will be based at the office at Västerbroplan in Stockholm, but have the opportunity to work remotely up to 2 days per week. In spring 2027, we are moving to new premises at Solna Strand. Your job title will be junior analyst and your placement is in the Department for Crisis Preparedness and Civil Defense, Supply Readiness Unit.
