Are you a recent IT graduate or early in your career and curious about the role of a tester? Are you analytical, quality-conscious, and motivated by understanding complex environments? If so, the junior tester role might be perfect for you—read on below!
About the Role
We at Infuse Talent are recruiting a junior tester on behalf of our client.
You'll become part of a global organization with over 350 employees, based in Stockholm. Here you'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with customers around the world, develop business-critical solutions that drive industrial production forward, and work in an environment where innovation, sustainability, and genuine customer value are in focus.
You'll be part of a cross-functional agile team where you work closely with customers, the market, and quality functions to develop solutions that make a real difference in production environments. As a junior, you'll receive support from your team members and have great opportunities to develop and learn new things.
Beyond an exciting role in an inclusive and unpretentious company, you'll also have opportunities to grow and learn, a chance to influence both technology and working methods, and access to international career opportunities within the group down the road.
What You'll Be Working On
As a junior tester, you'll have varying tasks, such as:
Develop automated test cases for the features the team develops
Conduct regression testing ahead of releases where you'll use real products as well as simulators to replicate customer environments
Participate in weekly integration tests with adjacent applications
Participate in conducting and analyzing load tests
Who Are You?
We believe you're someone who enjoys learning new things, solving complex problems, and isn't afraid to try new approaches. Another important quality is the ability to collaborate with others. In addition, you have:
An academic degree in computer science, systems development, or equivalent experience
Experience with/knowledge of Python
Strong skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
A genuine technical interest
It's a merit (but not a requirement) if you have practical experience with Azure DevOps, scripting for automation, simulators and virtualized test environments, infrastructure in both on-premises and cloud-based environments, and testing against physical hardware. If you also have an ISTQB certification, that's viewed very positively.
