Eltel has a security profile and works closely with security-classified customers, following strict security standards and certifications. They ensure that all technical installations and network solutions meet high information security requirements. Currently, Eltel is conducting multiple installation and infrastructure projects at various facilities, where they are responsible for important technical installations and network solutions.
As a Technician for Eltel, you will work with cable routing and cable tray installation. An experienced technician will be on-site for guidance. Part of the work involves laying cable outdoors in the ground. Further tasks include mounting access points in ceilings or on walls, which involves screwing in 4 screws and then clicking the access point into place. Initially, fiber will be spliced by an experienced technician, while terminating CAT6 cables (standard data network) will be done by the applicant, with potential for more responsibilities over time.
The assignment is expected to start immediately and begins with a 6-month trial period, with a chance for extension/permanent hire. Work hours are initially 07:30-16:00 on weekdays. Work takes place at various facilities within the Stockholm region and surrounding area. Travel to other locations and projects may also occur, sometimes requiring overnight stays.

B-class driver's license with access to a car to get to the work site
Experience within fiber or electrical work is a merit, for example through upper secondary education in electrical, technical, or fiber fields or through previous practical experience
Fluent in Swedish, spoken and written
This is a consultant assignment, which means you will be employed through StudentConsulting and then work on-site for Eltel. During the recruitment process, background checks and security clearance will be conducted.
