Job Description
Are you studying procurement, logistics, or supply chain – or are you early in your career and want to develop within procurement?
Welcome to Sigma Technology Engineering – a growing business area within Sigma Technology Group focused on supportive and leading roles in engineering, systems, and supply chain.
We are now looking for someone who is at the beginning of their career and wants to develop within procurement together with us and our customers in the technology and industrial sectors.
Maybe you're studying today and looking for a relevant part-time job alongside your studies. Or perhaps you've recently graduated or gained a few years of experience and want to take the next step in procurement.
For us, the most important thing is not how many years of experience you have, but that you are curious, driven, and interested in procurement, business, and technology.
About the Role
As a consultant with us, you'll have the opportunity to work on real client projects and build experience in procurement and supply chain. You'll often work together with experienced procurement professionals and in close contact with, for example, production, engineering, projects, and suppliers.
Depending on your experience and assignment, you might work with:
Managing purchase orders and ongoing supplier contacts
Following up on deliveries, prices, and quality
Working with request for quotations and supplier documentation
Supporting procurement professionals in negotiations and contract work
Working with supplier follow-up and improvement initiatives
Participating in projects together with production, engineering, and supply chain
Preparing analyses and documentation related to procurement and suppliers
For those still studying, the role can be adapted for part-time work alongside your studies.
For recent graduates, there is an opportunity to gradually take on greater responsibility and, in time, develop further toward, for example, project procurement, category procurement, or strategic procurement.
Basic Requirements
We believe that you
Are studying or have post-secondary education in, for example, procurement, economics, logistics, supply chain, or engineering
Have an interest in procurement, business, and technology
Are structured, curious, and like to take responsibility
Work well with others and communicate effectively
Have strong skills in Swedish and English
If you have previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or industry through, for example, part-time work, internships, practical training, or thesis work, that's a merit – but absolutely not a requirement.
Who Are You?
We believe you are curious, engaged, and want to learn. You dare to ask questions, take initiative, and enjoy collaborating with others.
You don't need to know everything from the start. We're looking for someone with the right attitude and the ambition to develop within procurement.
