Do you have experience in procurement, supplier collaboration, or contracting and want to take the next step in a qualified purchasing role? We are seeking a tactical buyer who wants to work both operatively and strategically in a technology-intensive industrial operation in Karlskrona.
About the Position:
As a tactical buyer, you will have a broad role with primary focus on tactical procurement work, while also being involved in more strategic matters. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing collaborations with subcontractors who can manufacture components or provide services to the operation.
You will work closely with both suppliers and internal contacts to ensure the right quality, delivery, and commercial terms. The role suits you if you understand how collaborations between industrial companies and their subcontractors work and if you thrive at creating long-term and business-oriented relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate new and existing subcontractors
Procure manufacturing, components, services, and contract work
Request and compare quotes and negotiate commercial terms
Establish and follow up on supplier agreements
Ensure that deliveries meet requirements for quality, cost, and delivery time
Develop long-term and sustainable supplier collaborations
Contribute to strategic procurement work and development of the supplier base
Collaborate with internal functions including engineering, production, and quality
What We Are Looking For:
You have experience in procurement, sales, supplier collaboration, or contracting
You have an understanding of manufacturing subcontractors and industrial processes
You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work
Great emphasis will be placed on your personality and relevant experience. To succeed in the role, we believe you are responsible, communicative, and confident in driving your matters forward. You have a genuine interest in business and technology, as well as the ability to switch between daily procurement work and a more long-term perspective.
About the Employment:
This position requires you to undergo and be approved for current security clearance requirements. For positions where our client has security classification requirements, certain citizenship requirements may apply.
This is a consultant assignment where you are employed by Friday. We work with long-term assignments at our clients, which creates security and continuity for you in your role.
