About the Position
This is a consulting assignment with good opportunities for permanent employment. In this role, you will initially be employed by Bravura, and PM Telekom has stated their intention to offer you employment with them in due course. About the Company
PM Telekom offers services for businesses and individuals throughout Southern Sweden and is an established contracting company specializing in telecom and data networks. They perform all common services and assignments in new construction, renovations, and maintenance. Among other things, PM Telekom carries out installation and maintenance work on copper and fiber networks, data and telephone networks, as well as excavation. The company was founded in 2002 and PM Telekom currently has around 50 employees and technicians spread across Southern Sweden, with their office in Kungsbacka. PM Telekom also has a subsidiary company, Link to Link, specializing in fiber installation.
Responsibilities
As a junior fiber technician, you will work with installation, service, and maintenance of fiber solutions. Initially, you will work alongside experienced colleagues to learn the operations, work methods, and technology. Over time, you will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and work independently on various projects.
Work takes place at customer sites and you need to be comfortable working outdoors throughout all seasons. The role involves varying workdays where assignments may differ depending on project scope and customer needs.
Examples of responsibilities:
Fiber blowing
Fiber installations
Fiber splicing
Service and troubleshooting in fiber networks
Support on various projects within fiber and data communication
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
Secondary education in a practical or technical field
Driver's license (category B)
Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
