JRAB seeks garbage truck driver / sanitation worker Are you a responsible and service-oriented person who thrives with active work and significant independent responsibility? Then you could be the person we're looking for in the role of garbage truck driver at JRAB. At JRAB, we're looking for someone who wants to work independently with the collection of waste and recyclable materials in a varied daily routine. The work involves daily routes according to planned schedules, where you're responsible for completing assignments efficiently and with good customer service. You're responsible for ensuring that collection is carried out according to plan and that reporting of, for example, weights and number of containers at customer sites is done correctly. The role requires precision, organization, and the ability to take personal responsibility. Areas of responsibility: • Collection of recyclable materials and commercial waste • Operation of garbage truck according to established routes and schedules • Daily contact with customers and traffic control • Handling of containers and bins • Basic vehicle inspections and responsibility for vehicle condition • Reporting of discrepancies and suggestions for improvement Qualifications: • Class C driver's license • YKB • Knowledge of Swedish • Experience in sanitation (advantageous) Personal qualities: • Responsible – takes ownership of your work tasks • Service-oriented – treats customers in a professional manner • Self-motivated – can work independently and efficiently • Cooperative – contributes to a good work environment • Physically resilient – thrives with active and hands-on work The vehicle is based in Jönköping, Torsvik.
