This is Jobbtorg Stockholm Jobbtorg Stockholm is a department within the labor market administration of Stockholm's city that works with labor market initiatives. We provide support to young adults and adults who are outside the labor market – through conversations, coaching, collaboration and educational pathways. We have approximately 500 employees working at 24 units across the city. Through coaching, collaboration and active employer engagement, you contribute to creating sustainable paths to work. The work takes place in close collaboration with other actors, with the individual's needs and resources at the center. Where we are located We are now looking for several committed job coaches for Jobbtorg Stockholm. Placement will be at one of our job centers in Skärholmen or Farsta. A day with us A workday can start with a coaching conversation with an applicant about next steps toward employment or studies. During the day you may also have contact with employers, work with matching or collaborate with colleagues and external parties, always with a focus on creating opportunities and achieving results for the individual. You coach, motivate and guide applicants in their planning toward self-sufficiency, with a focus on participation and the individual's own goals. The work involves you actively establishing and developing contacts with employers as well as matching applicants to appropriate employment or studies. You work both independently and in a team, in close collaboration with colleagues, employers and other external actors. You document continuously in operational systems and work in a structured manner toward set goals. Change and development work is a natural part of the assignment. We work according to the methods Supported Employment (SE) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), and you will receive an introduction to these as needed. Your competence and experience Academic education with a focus on behavioral science, social studies, sociology or equivalent experience. Good knowledge of the Swedish language both orally and in writing. In addition to this, it is meritorious if you have: experience working with people far from the labor market, education or experience in Individual Placement and Support (IPS) or Supported Employment (SE), training in Motivational Interviewing (MI), experience working within a politically governed operation, language skills in Arabic, Tigrinya, Somali. Managers within Jobbtorg Stockholm are expected to demonstrate trust-based leadership: The manager's responsibility is to work to ensure there is sufficient support and space for employees to take more responsibility, be self-driven and make decisions. It should be clear to employees what is to be achieved, within which parameters and that it is then up to the employee how to achieve it. This means that as a manager you create good relationships and provide conditions for your employees to be action-oriented by supporting their intrinsic motivation, efficiency and engagement.
