We are seeking a software developer to develop test systems for advanced products within the defense industry. This role is ideal for you if you have 1-5 years of experience in software development and want to work with technically complex systems where software is used to test, verify, and ensure quality of products before they proceed further in development.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will become part of a cross-functional team working on the development and verification of advanced technical systems. The team has expertise primarily in electronics, and your role will be to work exclusively with the software for the test systems.
Your main task is to develop the software used in test environments. This includes building and further developing applications and tools for automated testing, test workflows, and collection of test results.
Java is the primary programming language. You will work on both new development and further development of existing solutions.
WORK TASKS
Develop and maintain test software in Java
Develop solutions for automated testing and verification
Build internal tools and applications for test environments
Debug and analyze problems in software and test workflows
Work with code structure, architecture, and reusable solutions
Collaborate with developers and engineers across multiple technical areas
Contribute to the further development of test methods and processes
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU
Have a higher education degree in, for example, computer science or electronics
Have approximately 1–5 years of experience in software or systems development
Are comfortable debugging and tackling technical problems
Have good knowledge of Swedish and English
We believe you enjoy the development work itself and like to understand more than just the code you write. The role involves extensive collaboration with other technical areas, so it's an advantage if you are curious about how different parts of a system fit together.
The position requires that you undergo and pass a security vetting in accordance with the Security Protection Act and applicable regulations in effect at any time.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday and work for our client.
