At Nexer in Linköping, we're continuing to build our team – now we're looking for experienced Java developers with practical experience in Kotlin. You'll play an important role in developing modern and sustainable digital solutions for clients across different industries – from manufacturing to the public sector. As a consultant with us, you work on varying assignments and system environments, where you'll have the opportunity to develop both new solutions and existing systems. We're looking for someone who loves development, enjoys solving complex problems, and sees programming as a craft. You have several years of experience in system development with Java and have also worked professionally with Kotlin. You're experienced with backend development, APIs, and databases, and thrive in environments where quality, structure, and long-term sustainable code matter. You also appreciate collaboration around development – discussing technical solutions, sharing knowledge, and finding good ways forward together with others. We'd like to see that you have experience with several of the following areas: Spring/Spring Boot REST APIs and OpenAPI SQL and relational databases Automated testing CI/CD, for example GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins Docker and container-based environments Kubernetes Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP Frontend development, for example React or Angular If you also have experience with microservices architecture, event-driven solutions, or technologies like Kafka, that's a plus. Experience with IoT, OPC UA, or MQTT is also a plus in some of our assignments. The role requires that you can communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
