YOUTH AFFAIRS SPECIALIST

Main duties:
Implement and coordinate non-formal youth education, informational, educational and leisure activities and programs;
Participate in project idea development and concept design;
Write and manage local and international projects;
Motivate and coordinate youth participation in municipal public, cultural and economic life activities;
Supervise the Youth Center's operations and provide methodological support to youth workers;
Organize student employment activities during summer break, youth project competitions, youth days and other events;
Organize and implement career events, cooperate with career consultants;
Together with youth affairs specialists and other institutions (youth departments, municipalities, etc.) develop Youth Policy and oversee its implementation in the municipality, develop questionnaires for opinion gathering, participate in inter-institutional meetings and the youth affairs advisory board.
Requirements for candidates:
Secondary, secondary vocational or higher education;
Experience working with young people;
Experience in organizing and implementing youth activities;
Experience in project implementation, activity and event organization, understanding of non-formal education methods;
Knowledge of legislation regulating youth matters, including understanding of youth work content and methodology;
Knowledge of working with youth at risk of social exclusion and youth with special needs related to physical and mental development;
Ability to use multimedia and information technology in work duties;
Ability to make decisions and respond appropriately in emergency, non-standard situations, high-risk cases and other circumstances;
Psychological resilience and high standards of interpersonal communication;
Ability to build professional cooperation with the public and representatives of other institutions;
Excellent state language skills and proficiency in one foreign language.
