Are you ready to make a meaningful contribution to the growth, participation, and initiative implementation of young people in Talsu novads? If you are passionate about working with youth, project implementation, event organization, and youth policy development, we might be looking for exactly you!
Key job responsibilities:
plan and coordinate the implementation of youth policy in Talsu novads, as well as prepare proposals for its development;
build cooperation with student self-governments, youth centers, educational institutions, state and municipal institutions, and non-governmental organizations;
organize educational, informational, and creative training programs and activities for youth and youth workers;
consult with young people and promote their participation, self-initiative, non-formal education, and involvement in volunteer work;
develop and implement projects at local, national, and international levels in the youth field, as well as compile information, prepare reports, and inform the public about current issues in the youth sector.
Requirements for candidates:
higher education in pedagogy or educational sciences, or other higher education combined with pedagogical education obtained or currently being pursued;
state language proficiency at the highest level;
ability to work with MS Office or similar applications and information systems;
excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to independently organize work, take responsibility, and creatively solve work tasks.
Preferred qualifications:
experience working with youth or in a similar position;
experience in project development and management, event organization, or in the education field;
good English language skills.
