No. 40900026399 Announces a competition for the position of MARINE OBSERVATION GROUP SPECIALIST Position Purpose: Responsible for compiling recognized maritime situation information, analyzing and presenting information. Support maritime operations planning. Main Position Duties: Know and comply with established maritime observation procedure requirements; Understand maritime observation technical equipment, its condition and software usage rules; Monitor and maintain awareness of the situation in your area of responsibility at sea, ensure continuous situation monitoring and reporting; Comply with proper operation and use of Maritime Observation System technical equipment and software; Properly complete service documentation; Upon direct supervisor's order, within your competence, perform other work duties in the unit's interest not included in the position description; Requirements for Candidates: Level 1 professional higher or advanced education; At least 2 years of experience in a similar position; Excellent knowledge of Latvian language; Document preparation skills; Good organizational and communication skills; User-level skills in working with MS Office programs; Desirable experience working with DVS Namejs; High sense of responsibility, ability to work individually and in a team; Ability and motivation to improve your knowledge and skills; Ability to take responsibility for the results of your professional work; Important: To perform the position, you will need to obtain a special permit for access to state secrets in accordance with paragraphs 2 and 3 of Article 9 of the "State Secrets" law.
