About the Organization JATC Community Health Care has been operating LSS (support and service) activities for 30 years. Our intention is to offer a safe and manageable environment with a meaningful daily life, based on each participant's unique abilities. Our target group is young adults with neuropsychiatric variations with some activity limitations. We offer a creative comprehensive concept: housing, daily activities with market-oriented workplaces, and active leisure time. Today we have operations in Strängnäs, Järna, Södertälje, Mölnbo, and Nynäshamn. Our clients are primarily municipalities and county councils. Most of our participants are covered by the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities and the Social Services Act. Our vision is to be a role model. Our Mission is to inspire the generation of a meaningful life. We see ourselves as enablers, which means creating conditions for a safe, joyful, and healthy lifestyle throughout life. JOB DUTIES You work with people who have intellectual disabilities, autism, or a neuropsychiatric diagnosis. In the residential setting, you provide users with support in their daily life including personal care, services such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, and cultural and leisure activities. The role also includes pedagogical work with the user and ensuring their need for structure and routines is met. The work is based on respectful treatment and ensuring the user has influence over their daily life. You will use the pedagogical methods/tools the company employs, follow up on the support provided, collaborate and coordinate with the team and the participant's network, and document in our journal system, which is considered an important part of the role. PERSONAL QUALITIES You are curious, attentive, accustomed to routines, and good at planning. You work actively with clear objectives and are open and positive. You have the ability to motivate, build good relationships, and maintain a solution-focused approach. You have a good ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You should be a role model and set a good example both in the organization and in society. QUALIFICATIONS · Secondary education; experience in care, health services, or children and youth-social work is a merit. · Previous experience working in LSS activities and with people with activity limitations. · Experience working with people with epilepsy is a requirement. · We welcome applicants who have worked with individuals displaying challenging behaviors and are familiar with low-arousal approaches. · Good computer skills, as we use digital documentation and time reporting. · Good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written. · Valid driver's license (category B) is a requirement. OTHER INFORMATION Work hours at our residential facilities are scheduled for evenings and weekends, on-call nights and/or awake nights. Daytime work may also occur. Physical activities with participants are part of the role and you should not be overly sensitive to pet animals. If you are called for an interview, bring copies of your employment certificates and grades as well as a criminal records extract.
