As a buyer and production support specialist at Jästbolaget, you will be the factory's representative regarding purchasing and procurement of input materials. You will ensure that there is a sufficient quantity of stocked goods and agreed-upon consumables on hand through procurement and delivery according to contracts and inventories. You will also handle externally produced products as well as purchasing office supplies and consumables.
You will be responsible for setting up and administering suppliers in our various systems and general management of input materials. In this role, you will plan and lead testing and implementation of various improvements both through suppliers and production. The work is independent with close collaboration with adjacent departments.
We are looking for someone interested in being part of a production organization and who has relevant education in purchasing, supply chain, production, economics, or equivalent. We would appreciate it if you have previous work experience in any of the above areas, preferably from manufacturing industry or food production. You have experience and interest in understanding flows within production, warehouse, supply chain, and material supply. You have good administrative skills and project management experience is a plus.
You are computer savvy and comfortable with SharePoint, Excel, and other Office programs. Knowledge of food safety, quality systems, or relevant industry standards is a plus. Furthermore, you communicate easily and are fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
As a person, you are driven, curious, and responsible. Your work style is structured and analytical, and you place great importance on collaboration. You have good planning and prioritization skills and are good at managing multiple parallel processes and tasks.
