IT Technician at Östersund Parish Would you like to work broadly with IT in an organization where your work makes a real difference? Östersund Parish is now recruiting an IT Technician who wants to take overall responsibility for our local IT function and be an important part of our future development. You will be part of the administrative unit where we work together with finance, HR, payroll, administration and communication. We are centrally located in Östersund city center. Östersund Parish currently has approximately 67 employees. As of January 1, 2027, Östersund Pastorate will be formed. The pastorate will consist of three parishes: Häggenås Lit Kyrkås, Frösö Sunne Norderö and Östersund, and we will then have approximately 98 employees, and you will be one of the pastorate's important staff members. We are in a development phase where structure, security and digital working methods are important parts of our continued operational development. About the Position As an IT Technician, you are responsible for daily IT support to our employees and to some extent our elected representatives. You will work with overall operational user support, management of computers, printers and mobile phones, access rights and system administration. The role is independent and broad, and you function as first-line IT support for our employees. You work both with daily support and with creating structure, routines and secure management of our IT environments. We would also appreciate if you educate and continuously develop our staff's competencies. You are the link to the Swedish Church's central IT support and external vendors. You also have a special responsibility for supporting and driving GDPR matters related to our IT systems and contributing to information security work. In addition to IT, administrative management of keys, alarms and lock systems is included. We are Looking for You You have experience in IT support or similar work and enjoy a role where you can combine technology, structure and service. You are self-driven, responsible and have good teaching abilities. You are helpful and social. Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environment. Experience with access rights administration. Understanding of GDPR and information security. Class B driver's license.
