Do you want to work in a hands-on IT role where service, problem-solving, and personal contact are at the center? We're now looking for a driven and proactive IT support technician at an established property management company in Stockholm. Here you'll work broadly with internal IT support and help colleagues with both small and large technical challenges.
About the Position:
As an IT support technician, you'll work with internal IT support for approximately 260 users in Stockholm and Gothenburg. You'll be based in our Stockholm office and provide support via phone, email, remote assistance, and on-site visits. Issues range from passwords and logins to troubleshooting networks, hardware, and Microsoft environments.
There's no traditional separation between 1st and 2nd line support, which means you'll work broadly and take responsibility for issues from start to finish. You'll work together with IT colleagues and also maintain close contact with the company's IT Business Solutions department.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide internal IT support via phone, email, remote assistance, and on-site visits
Troubleshoot and handle issues within Windows, Office, networks, and hardware
Administer user accounts and permissions, networks, and hardware
Manage incoming support tickets in the company's ticketing system
Administer and work in Microsoft-based IT environments
Provide educational guidance to users and contribute to creating a secure and service-oriented IT experience
Act proactively in daily work and identify ways you can further support the business
What We're Looking For:
You have 1–2 years of work experience within IT support or equivalent
You have solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 as well as Microsoft Office
You have experience with Microsoft Active Directory
You have good understanding of networks
You have experience with Microsoft SCCM
You have some knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server
You speak and write fluent Swedish and have good English skills
Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities. We're looking for someone who is service-oriented, social, and solution-focused. You're educational and enjoy not just solving problems, but also explaining and guiding the user. You're proactive and enterprising, willing to tackle problems independently, and actively seek solutions. You have good interpersonal skills, can read different situations, and are motivated by going the extra mile when working with users.
About the Employment:
This is a consultant assignment, which means you'll initially be employed by Friday. The intention from both the client and our side is that after 12 months you'll become directly employed by the client.
