Do you have a few years of experience in IT support and enjoy a day-to-day environment where you can help users, troubleshoot, and solve various technical problems? We're now looking for an IT Support Technician at a larger organization in Malmö, where you'll work broadly with internal support in a large IT environment. About the Company Our client has a large internal IT environment where the support function plays an important role in daily operations. You'll become part of an IT team that works closely with users with a focus on service, problem-solving, and a well-functioning IT environment. More information about the client will be provided later in the process. The position starts as a consultant assignment through us at Mero with good opportunities for long-term employment with the client. About the Role In this role, you'll work with first-line support and help users solve various IT problems in their daily work. You'll receive requests via phone and email, troubleshoot, and resolve as much as possible directly. You'll work with a variety of IT requests and need to be able to understand the problem, test possible solutions, and determine when a request needs to be escalated to second-line support. This requires that you're confident in basic IT troubleshooting and experienced at guiding users through different technical problems. You're also responsible for documenting requests clearly and ensuring that the right information is in place for continued handling. This role suits you if you enjoy the combination of technology, problem-solving, and extensive user contact. About You We're looking for someone with a few years of experience in IT support or servicedesk who is confident in independently troubleshooting and solving users' IT problems. You have good general IT knowledge, are experienced in handling many different types of support requests, and know what information is needed when a request needs to be escalated. To succeed in this role, we'd like to see that you have: A few years of experience in first-line support or servicedesk Good experience with technical troubleshooting and user support Experience working with ticket management systems Ability to document and communicate technical problems in a clear manner Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written As a person, you're service-oriented, solution-focused, and organized. You enjoy diving into technical problems and thrive in a role where you combine IT with extensive user contact.
