Do you have a few years of experience in IT support and want to take the next step in a broader technical role? We're now looking for an IT Support Specialist who wants to work closely with users, providing varied support, technical troubleshooting, and more complex IT tasks.
About the Company
Our client is a large organization with an extensive internal IT environment and many users across the business. Here you'll become part of an IT team that works closely with users, where service, collaboration, and technical problem-solving are key parts of your daily work. More information about the client will be provided in the next step of the process.
The position starts as a consulting assignment through Mero for 6 months with excellent opportunities for a long-term employment with the client.
About the Role
As an IT Support Specialist, you'll work in the internal helpdesk as one of the first points of contact for internal users who need help with IT-related questions. You'll receive, register, classify, and resolve incoming tickets and work continuously with troubleshooting in areas such as Windows, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, accounts, permissions, and basic network-related issues.
Part of the role also involves service tasks such as account creation, permission assignment, and basic configuration changes according to established procedures. You'll document tickets and solutions in the ticket system, follow up on ongoing issues, and escalate to 2nd line support when needed.
The role involves extensive user contact and therefore requires you to be able to explain technical solutions in a simple and clear manner. You'll also contribute to developing the support approach by identifying recurring problems, sharing knowledge, and helping improve daily service delivery.
About You
We're looking for someone with several years of experience in IT support, service desk, or similar roles, and who feels comfortable in a Microsoft-based user environment. You enjoy problem-solving, are technically curious, and thrive on helping users in a clear and pedagogical way. We'd like to see that you have:
Experience with Microsoft 365 and knowledge of Entra
Good experience troubleshooting Windows and user environments
Experience with ticket management systems and structured ticket handling
Basic understanding of networks and IT infrastructure
Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
As a person, you're service-oriented, responsible, and used to working in a structured way even when handling multiple tickets simultaneously. You enjoy collaborating with others, take ownership of your tickets, and have a calm and clear approach when interacting with users.
