We're seeking a Career Coach for our operations with career transition assignments in Kalmar County. We're looking for a skilled, engaged, and self-directed coach who wants to make a difference for our participants. About the Role As a Career Transition Coach, you will support individuals facing changes in their working lives - this could include career coaching for laid-off or unemployed people who need transition support, new career paths, or training/retraining. Participants may or may not require health-adjusted services. You will work closely with participants through individual meetings, follow-ups, and continuous coaching. Your responsibilities will include, in addition to ongoing administration: Independently coach participants toward employment or studies. Lead individual coaching sessions with a focus on career guidance and change support. Assess competencies, formulate goals, and create individual development plans. Support participants in job searching, CV and application work, and educational choices. Match participant competencies with employer needs and build networks. Collaborate with employers, authorities, and other relevant stakeholders. Work goal- and results-oriented according to established requirements and objectives. You will plan and structure your work independently - in close dialogue with participants and your supervisor. The role also involves travel throughout the county, as coaching can take place in multiple locations. Therefore, a B-class driver's license is desirable. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Who We're Looking For We believe you are someone who creates security, engagement, and motivation in your interactions and achieves results. You are skilled at listening, analyzing, inspiring, and networking - and you are driven by seeing others grow and reach their goals. You are also thorough with deadlines and comfortable managing multiple parallel tasks simultaneously, working with participants both individually and in groups. You need to have: At least 7 years of work experience (full-time). At least 3 years of coaching experience within the last 7 years. Documented coaching competence and ability to support people through change. Experience coaching individuals with physical or mental health challenges. Good knowledge of the local labor market and established employer contacts. Understanding of social systems such as the Public Employment Service, Swedish Social Insurance Agency, etc. Relevant education. Relevant education could be within work life, behavioral science, psychology, study and career guidance, social work programs, or training in career coaching (vocational college, college/university). Meritorious if you have experience in: Work-life rehabilitation, at least three years. Procuring work trial and internship positions. Very good digital skills and knowledge of digital job search tools. Collaboration with actors in the rehabilitation chain and labor market legislation. Additional Information The position is an hourly-paid fixed-term employment as needed.
