About the Position
We are now recruiting two experienced consultants who want to take key roles as Interim Chief to support managers through change, development, and operational leadership. The assignment is conducted in an organization with an important public mission where the focus is on ensuring high quality, stability, and long-term development. The assignment includes support to operations in the Göteborg area during a period with several parallel development and change initiatives.
The role includes providing qualified support to managers and leadership, with responsibility for creating structure, coordination, and momentum in operations development. Furthermore, you will contribute with analysis, coordination, and follow-up to ensure that prioritized initiatives are implemented effectively and lead to desired results.
Work Tasks:
- Analyze the current state of operations and identify development opportunities.
- Support managers in strategic and operational leadership matters.
- Plan, coordinate, and follow up on change and development initiatives.
- Ensure momentum in prioritized activities and projects.
- Contribute to creating structure, clarity, and stability in daily work.
- Provide support in operations management, follow-up, and prioritization.
- Collaborate with different functions and stakeholders to create common direction and implementation capacity.
Assignment Period and Scope
The position is a full-time consulting assignment starting 2026-10-20 and is initially planned to run for 4 or 6 months with the possibility of extension, at most for 12 months.
The work is primarily carried out on-site at the agency's premises with the possibility of remote work up to 2 days/week.
The assignment involves security-sensitive operations, which means the assignment cannot begin before background checks and register checks are approved for the final candidate.
Requirements for the Position:
• Academic education in leadership, management, logistics, maritime, or equivalent experience deemed equivalent
• Documented ability to combine strategic analysis with operational implementation
• Experience as Manager/Interim Manager for at least two years
• Documented good results from operational work
• Experience in preparing analyses, decision-making materials, and recommendations to management
• Ability to drive and follow up improvement initiatives in complex operational environments
• Experience in change management and operations development

You enjoy driving the work forward and converting plans into concrete results.
