We welcome your application! The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides high-quality intensive care to all operational areas within Södersjukhuset. We care for both adults and children in both the ICU and post-operative unit (Postop). We have 12 intensive care beds and 20 post-operative beds. The ICU is part of the Perioperative Care and Intensive Care (PVI) operational area. The operational area also includes anesthesia, operating room, and sterilization technology center. Job Description In the ICU, you will care for critically ill patients from all operational areas at Södersjukhuset. In Postop, more advanced post-operative care is provided at Södersjukhuset. What is common to our units is that we work in multidisciplinary teams where we view the team as an important success factor for providing good care. We have a collaborative and unpretentious work environment among all professional categories. The position involves rotation between ICU and Postop. We offer you an individually tailored introduction based on your needs and previous experience. During your first year with us, you will have a mentor whom you meet regularly. You will have the opportunity for weekly group reflection with trained reflection facilitators. We offer regular competency development in the form of study days, shorter training sessions, courses, and presentations based on ongoing improvement work. Qualifications You are a specialist nurse in Intensive Care. It is advantageous if you have previous experience in intensive care. We are looking for someone who is responsible and has good communication skills. You have a positive attitude and through your commitment you contribute to the development of the operation. You are flexible and easily adapt your work approach when conditions change. We place great importance on personal suitability. We have individual schedule planning (ISP) and Region Stockholm's working hours agreement (ATK).
