Region Västerbotten works to ensure that good health and sustainable development strengthen each other. We take responsibility for equitable welfare and for ensuring that research and innovation deliver results. At the Center for Surgical Operations clinic in Skellefteå, we provide intensive care for children and adults, acute and planned surgical care, anesthesia with associated postoperative care, and sterile technical services. Operations are conducted in collaboration with the Surgery and Orthopedic departments, as well as other clinics both at the hospital and throughout the region. In collaboration with the university, we also conduct research, development, and education. Our clinic has a clear vision for the work environment where our behaviors contribute to a workplace characterized by safety, learning, respect, and professional conduct. Teamwork and a good work environment are high on our agenda. Our clinic was designated as one of Region Västerbotten's best workplaces in 2024. We are now looking for an Intensive Care Nurse for the Intensive Care and Postoperative Unit in Skellefteå, who wants to help develop the operations and make a difference for our patients. Through good collaboration within the region, efficient care pathways, ongoing continuous improvement efforts, and competent staff, we can offer high-quality care. Together we develop health and medical care close to the patient and create security through a focus on respect, integrity, and accessibility. Within the intensive care unit, you have the advantage of working according to a work time model that enables reduced working hours, increased recovery time, and higher compensation for inconvenient working hours, compared to the general agreement. Additionally, you have the opportunity to influence the scheduling of your work shifts. 2 position(s). Your work tasks also include caring for postoperative patients, as the staff team also staffs the postoperative unit and alert functions at the hospital. You work closely with nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and doctors who together form a team around the patient and their relatives. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with further education in intensive care. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as flexibility, good self-awareness, and communication skills.
